Our Programs

Kids Can Write is becoming expanded to multiple synchronous programs centered around different topics. This will give our students a chance to explore and dip their toes into many fields. 

In the Creative Writing Program, kids write about whatever they want. Our other programs are more specialized to certain fields. The KCW Neuroscience Program was implemented January 2023; students learn about the brain from Neuroscience Majors and have the opportunity to implement what they learn into their stories. The Neuroscience Program began Spring 2023 at our Virginia Tech Chapter, tutoring students from Gilbert Linkous Elementary School.
